Make Money, Not Waste – Free advice for businesses
Make Money, Not Waste will be at Junction 24 Regional Business Centre, North Petherton from 5.30pm on 25th of March. A host of recession-busting environmental advice, a legislation update and a tasty buffet are all on the menu for this event designed to help local businesses maximise profits and minimise waste.
Helen Ridler, Somerset Waste Partnership’s Business Recycling Advisor says “Attendees will hear practical, low cost and no cost measures to help their businesses become more resource efficient and more profitable. Right now British businesses are estimated to be missing out on £6.4billion of resource efficiency savings. Can anyone afford not to come along?”
It is estimated that the true cost of waste is around 5% of turnover in the UK and this cost is rising year on year.
