SORT-IT plus roadshows, affected by winter weather
Roadshows at the start of the week in Wembdon, Bawdrip and Shipham were cancelled. At the time of going to press, roadshows in Burnham at the Princess Hall on Thursday 14th January (10am to 1pm) and at the ReCreation Centre, Bridgwater on Friday 15th January (10am to 2pm) are still going ahead.
Residents in the areas due to commence the SORT-IT PLUS collection scheme should receive their Notification Packs this week. The information provided should give the householder all the information they need to ensure a smooth transition to the new service.
Those residents wishing to request a change to the standard arrangements as outlined in the Notification Packs should return their forms by 20th January.
Residents due to commence the service who wish to view the food waste containers and wheelie bins are invited to either attend the Burnham or Bridgwater roadshow or to visit the permanent display at Sedgemoor District Council Offices at Bridgwater House in Kings Square.
