Waste Collections in West Somerset |
| |
Within West Somerset there are two main recycling collection services. One is for the collecton of 'dry' recyclable material (cans, paper etc), via a kerbside recycling box; the other is for the collection of garden waste, which is sent off to be composted locally. This is collected through wheeled bins, which the householder can hire, or by purchasing large paper sacks.
Both services are fortnightly, and make a significant impact on increasing the amount of waste recycled in the area.
