Newspaper can be used to wrap food waste or line kitchen caddies.
Alternatively, compostable liners can be bought from many local shops (Click here for a list of liner stockists). Only compostable liners should be used for Somerset's food waste collections. Biodegradable and other plastics do not break down quickly enough when composted. If you use a liner for food waste collections in Somerset it must have the "looped seedling" logo (shown below) to show it is compostable.
